Amy and Grant’s Cinematic Preview Film

We first met Amy and Grant when we did their engagement film, and right away we knew these two had staying power! So in love, so sweet, and just such a wonderful couple of people! Even though it rained, you could not tear the smile away from Amy’s face. She was just so incredibly happy and her joy literally spread all over the day. I hope you can feel it when you view their little film!

Stephanie + Wayne – 3.24.12 – Cinematic Preview Film

I always ask my brides and grooms to summarize their wedding style in three words. I use these words going in and let it drive the way I film and present the day. I have been doing quite a few rustic weddings the last year, and just recently, with both Tracey and Brian and Stephanie and Wayne’s films, they’ve taken on a more modern twist. Stephanie and Wayne’s wedding was the most modern style I have filmed and edited so far. I hope I captured the essence of their style in their little film. I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out.

Tracey and Brian – 3.10.12 – Cinematic Preview Film

I love the Georgian Terrace Hotel in downtown Atlanta. Such history, yet so totally modern all at the same time. It’s very artistic. Tracey and Brian’s wedding was just that … modern, but with a really organic and soft touch … especially with the flowers (Amy Osaba is really talented!!!). Here is their little preview film. More to come with these two …

Kara and Ben – Engagement Film

I’m really pleased with how this little film turned out. We filmed this at the next door neighbor’s farm from Sally and Nathan’s wedding (back in October). I remembered the winding path, the super long black horse fence, and I couldn’t forget the horses. I suggested it to Kara, and she loved the idea. So … here is the result! These two will be married in April.

Nina and James – Short Form Highlight Film

Here is the continuation of James and Nina’s Wedding Day. There is just something about these two … they have a ton of friends, and I completely see why. Total 100% genuine-ness (is that a word?). Anyway, I think they will enjoy a long and happy marriage with one another. Enjoy!

Our Vintage Cinema Photo/Video Shoot

What do you get when you rent some awesome vintage theater seats, have a super talented photographer on hand, and play with popcorn in a large open field? Our 2012 Promo Photo/Video Shoot! I have always wanted to do a themed shoot for our business, and one of the ideas I’ve been playing around with was having a vintage cinema theme. With this promo film also comes a new design for our logo/branding and website. I’m just so pleased how it all came together!

I am so very pleased to share it all with you! Before I get to the photos … please enjoy our little promo film! Music is “Lovely Day” by Kathryn Ostenburg, provided by Song Freedom and used with permission:

… and now for some of my favorites from the photo shoot! There are so many more … it was hard to narrow it down for this post! She is an awesome photographer!

James and Nina – 2.4.12 – Cinematic Preview Film

James and Nina celebrated their wedding at the historic Callanwolde Fine Arts Center in Atlanta, GA. I just LOVE that staircase and can totally see why couples choose it for their venue. This couple is super sweet and lighthearted. I loved adding the little touches here and there that showcase their personalities in this film (James giving me the thumbs up before the first look, Nina giving a little wink as she snuggled with him during pictures). Next, I’m working on their short form film, which will have more from these two sweethearts. Stay tuned!

Amy and Grant – Engagement Film

We really enjoy doing these little engagement films! Amy and Grant have spent most of their lives in Acworth, Georgia, and therefore really wanted to do their film in and around the quaint little city. We loved the railroad tracks/railcar, as well as the famous Coca Cola wall. What a creative little city with a LOT of character! We finished up at nearby Lake Acworth, where Grant proposed on the bridge overlooking the lake. Enjoy this glimpse into the sweet couple that is Amy and Grant.

Emeka + Chichi – Engagement Film

Chichi and Emeka’s engagement film was such a blast to do. We “re-created” their engagement with this little film (sans flying, of course, lol). They share a sweet engagement story, beginning with a surprise flying lesson, followed by a dinner at the amazing Fogo de Chao, and culminating in a romantic proposal on the front porch. We chose to re-create what we could from the day in a fun film that tells the story, while at the same time celebrates their love for each other. I think it turned out awesome! These two will be married on April 21, and I can’t wait to celebrate with them!

Congrats to Anna and Joseph – Their film is getting published!!!

We just got the news this morning that Anna and Joseph’s film has been selected for publication on Style Me Pretty’s Georgia wedding blog! Yay! We will have more news as to the date of the feature, but we wanted to congratulate Anna and Joseph!
The feature will include the fabulous photographs of Amy Aragon of Aragon Photography, and she had applied this beautiful vintage color filter to her photos. I loved it and so before submitting their film, I played with color editing and applied a similar vintage color look to their film. I don’t know which version Style Me Pretty will decide to feature (as I submitted both the regular color and the vintage color versions), but I do want to share with you the vintage color version.
Here it is:

… and here is the original film (no vintage color treatment applied).
