WebJun 3, 2014 · Civil 3D drawings can often times become quite large and data intensive. Any increase in performance of handling and displaying this data is a welcome sight. One major slow-down in performance can be regeneration time when switching between Layout and Model tabs. Here is a tip to help speed up regeneration when switching between tabs: WebJul 15, 2015 · AutoCAD: AutoCAD External Reference (s) Slow Down This can happen when the INDEXCTL variable is turned on in the External References. When this Variable is on it creates Layer Indexes and or Spatial Indexes. These Indexes can become corrupt and cause this behavior. You can open the External reference (s) and turn this off.
