I have PDFs that are skewed and I believe the only way to de-skew in Foxit is to optimize the PDF. Ideally, there would be a de-skew function in Foxit (like Adobe has). So, I have to use the Optimize PDF feature just to de-skew. However, whenever I use the feature, my document becomes blurry.

Splet28. dec. 2024 · You could fix those blurry text scans by using a PDF editor to delete the filter layer above the text. I never did figure out why some scans had the filter and some didn't. Some bug or edge case in the halftone recognition algorithm - who knows. You blurriness probably isn't caused by a filter, but it is something to keep in mind.
